This July, what's in store for your child in My Messy Box?

Hey all, it's July now and many of us are back to school now, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! Here are this month's themes, and do check out our youtube channel and subscribe to it if you haven't already!

Explorers (12-18 months)

Theme: The colour red

Highlights: Our little explorers will explore the many red items we can find in our house, we can get messy with the apple poufing craft, and lastly, parents will get to make an apple gel bag for your child. This gel bag is a great sensory tool and can double up as a calming bag.

Discoverers (19-24 months)

Theme: The tiger that came to tea

Highlights: A extension to the poplar children's story, we will start off with a 'feed the tiger' activity, 'make' the tiger with the tiger marbling art, and finally have the tea party in the tea brewing sensory activity!

Adventurers (2 - 3 years old)

Theme: The hungry caterpillar

Highlights: Inspired by the classic story by Eric Carle, we introduce a 'flip-a-leaf' game as a link to the story, followed by a caterpillar slinky craft, and finally, a beautiful hungry caterpillar sensory bin

Bloomers (3-4 years old)

Theme: Community helpers

Highlights: This is a favourite topic in schools! Start off by matching outfits to the correct community helper, we will then make a little city out of paper bags, and integrate it into the community helpers sensory tub!

Experts (4 years and up)

Theme: Little detectives

Highlights: Secret message, dusting fingerprints, figuring out hidden messages, parts of the daily routine of a detective, are you up to it?

We hope you will enjoy this month's themes! We will be following up with more exciting content, stay tuned!
